I'm coming home.

Was in waiting for the bus in town, when I caught sight of the eastern wing of Queen's Plaza. A slightly illuminated "David Jones" lettering was seen against the white facade of Queen's Plaza. A summer breeze was in the air, sending the occasional falling leaves in my direction.

It was at this time that I felt a surge of excitement rush through. I felt like a kid who can't wait for her birthday to come to start opening her presents.

This is a familiar feeling. When had I experienced it?? Aha, yes, it was those nights, not too long ago, where I'll hug my pillows tight and pull my blanket extra snugly around me, just because I know I'll be missing the familiar smell and feel of them for quite some time. And I'll always, as I grabbed my pooh bolster, anticipate the 7th of July when I'll be flying to Brisbane.

I'm in Brisbane now.

I'm an international student in the University of Queensland. I'm representing the dreams of many who could only dream about studying overseas, and who could never ever afford to study overseas.

Not that i could afford too. It was all thanks to "Lao Ye".

Still, I'm living out the dreams of many. Strangely, it doesn't feel familiar, it doesn't feel like my own dream. I must have missed out something somewhere.

I hope I'll find it back.

A chapter of life in Brisbane.... Chronicles of the house on top of the hill, the lazy Sunday afternoons, the romantic Great Court, and the azure Brisbane River rested beneath the starry heavens.... Also a chapter of life in Singapore, in Malaysia, the place I was born and bred =)
