{The passing of a grey sky in winter's day}

Was down with some stomach problems and diarrhoea for the past few days. Visited the doc. She is a kind, nice old lady with plentiful white hair, a 慈祥 look on her face. She was really attentive, and reassured me that I was fine, despite having been diagnosed with Campylobacter jejuni infection 2 weeks ago.

Its kinda scary really, the thought of falling really sick so far away from home. But once again, this "season of illness" has made me realise that I am not as strong as I thought I am, that I should learn how to take care of myself more. Yea, I guess that's wad i've learnt from this episode.

hmm...and also, lately, I had strong urge of a missing sentiment. Missing certain people in my life. Haha, the first on the list will be Derek....

{scribbles~~}

How was the past week? Let's see...

1. Completed Season 2 of Prison Break. Apparently that Scofield guy ended up in prison again. Disappointing....(Side note: I do have a neighbour who lives 2 doors away that bears much resemblance to Scofield. Could he be the mxt movie star??)

2. Planning games for Judah 5 getaway. Very much excited about it!! Heehee =D Watch out bros and sis.....

3. Went to harbour town and returned with my coveted double-tongue gray sneakers!! I have been DYING to own a pair of such shoes....Have been controlling my spending urges in order to splurge it all at one go. And the best thing is, they actually stock shoes my size (size 3)!! Yay!!

4. Celebrated auntie's 22nd birthday last night. Went to Mt. Cootha -- it was just amazing. Brisbane seemed like a sea of tiny lights in the dark, and the 300 deg view from the summit was just breathtaking. I was so reminded of my first time to Mt cootha too, in winter last year. So so nice.

To auntie: Happy Birthday gal. You may not understand this, but God loves you and so do I. you are such a blessing to the ppl around you. Jiayou in life!

5. Church conference was a success! I had fun on mixer, haha!
